LEESIM Privacy Policy
This policy explains how LEESIM handles personal data when you browse the site, create an account, buy an eSIM, use the dashboard, request a refund, or enable renewal features.
1. Information We Collect
LEESIM collects the email address you provide for login, checkout, registration, receipts, and eSIM delivery. We also keep order details such as destination, package, duration, price, payment status, refund status, renewal preference, and related timestamps.
To deliver and manage eSIMs, we may store eSIM details such as ICCID, provider order identifiers, activation code, QR code URL, status, activation date, expiry information, and recorded data usage. We also process technical data needed to run the service, including session identifiers, IP address, user agent, login timestamps, and security tokens.
2. How We Use Information
We use personal data to create and secure your account, send login and checkout codes, process orders, collect payment, provision eSIMs, show your dashboard, deliver receipts and activation details, handle refunds, manage renewal preferences, detect abuse, answer support requests, and meet legal, accounting, and chargeback obligations.
3. Processors and Service Providers
Stripe processes payments, invoices, billing portal sessions, saved payment methods, and refunds. LEESIM stores Stripe identifiers needed to match payments and refunds to your orders, but Stripe handles card data directly.
Connectivity and eSIM platform partners process order and eSIM data needed to provision, manage, cancel, and report usage for the eSIMs you buy. LEESIM may also use email, hosting, database, queue, and monitoring providers that process data only as needed to operate the service.
4. Cookies
LEESIM uses essential session cookies and security cookies for login, checkout, dashboard access, CSRF protection, and keeping your session working while you use the site. These cookies are required for the service to function.
LEESIM does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. Because only essential session cookies are used, LEESIM does not currently show a marketing cookie banner. If optional analytics or advertising cookies are added later, this policy and the consent experience will be updated.
5. GDPR Legal Bases
Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar privacy laws apply, LEESIM processes personal data to perform the contract with you, comply with legal obligations, and pursue legitimate interests such as fraud prevention, service security, customer support, and improving operational reliability. If consent is required for a specific use, you can withdraw it at any time.
6. Retention
LEESIM keeps account, order, payment, refund, and eSIM records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve support issues, handle disputes and chargebacks, maintain accounting records, and comply with legal obligations. Login and checkout codes are short-lived. Sessions expire according to LEESIM's session settings.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data protection authority. Contact LEESIM support to make a privacy request.
8. International Processing
LEESIM's processors and providers may process data in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, LEESIM relies on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
9. Security
LEESIM uses access controls, encrypted transport, application security controls, and limited operational access to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should keep access to your email account secure.
10. Changes
LEESIM may update this policy as the service, processors, legal requirements, or privacy practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
